Fall Prevention Tips for You and Your Caregiver

Lunch & Learn
Tuesday, December 6th 12:30-1:15pm

Let’s face it, falling is scary.  As we age, we become more susceptible to imbalance and risks such as breaking a hip or wrist. Those who are injured from a fall, are likely to fall again.  Dr. Daniel Shaye will teach prevention guidelines to reduce your risk of a falling incident—and maintaining your independence.

Arthritis Demystified:  An introduction to your aging body (and what to do about it)

Lunch & Learn
Tuesday, January 10th 12:30-1:15pm

STOP HURTING AND START LIVING!   Dr. Daniel Shaye will discuss the mysterious & frightening "arthritis" diagnosis & turns it into something understandable & manageable.  Like any "vehicle," the human body breaks down over time.  How can we minimize our over-reliance on doctors, drugs, and joint replacements?  How can we decrease pain, and improve our ability to play tennis/golf, take walks, & keep up with the kids & grand-children?

Gait Analysis
Tuesday, January 24th  3-5:30pm

What could be more basic than walking or running?

Dr. Daniel Shaye will be performing FREE gait analysis and digital foot scans.  You may learn why your knee hurts, or your back, or your hip... you may even catch injuries BEFORE they happen!  Please call ahead, registration requires an appointment time.

 Runner's Clinic

Shoulder and Knee Pain:
Conservative (Non-operative)
and Post-surgical Options

Monday, November 14th 6:30-7:30pm

Is shoulder pain holding you back?  Is knee pain taking the joy out of your day?
Want to play sports, pick up the kids (or grand-kids), take a stroll and live pain free-- without injections, drugs, or surgery?  Learn about modern, conservative methods to manage and possibly overcome shoulder pain as well as how to avoid prematurely wearing out your knees.  Dr. Shaye's interest in conservative management of shoulders and knees was born out of his patients’ needs, as well as his own personal experiences on the basketball court, swimming and running.
