We have a special place in our hearts for athletes. Dr. Nat
Shaye has worked with Olympic calibre sprinters, and learned a lot from working with his favorite distance runner, his son
Dr. Daniel Shaye (pictured above).
Look for Dr. Daniel Shaye (some of whose sports experience and credentials appear
above) at footraces throughout Southeastern Virginia! You may find him in the top 10; or at the finish line as a volunteer;
or just look for his "RUNR-DOC" license plate!

Check out what these atheletes had to say:
Dr.
Shaye, You have a real gift; whatever you did last Thursday and Friday really worked. I had no pain on Saturday at the
Shamrock Marathon and had a [personal record] by 15 minutes!! Thanks again, Steve S."
"You treated an
old hamstring injury with active release last year. The treatment worked great and the tightness and pain are almost completely
gone. Last cycling season, I did too many miles too soon and developed some patellar tendonitis. I have taken about a month
off now and the pain is gone but I can definitely feel a difference in my knees texture and feel and I would assume that the
reason is scar tissue. My hip also is a little tight. You were able to work out an old injury when other orthopedic doctors
really didnt have an answer for me. I would like to schedule some treatments. Thanks again. Brent B P.S. After
the active release on my hamstring I ended up winning my age group in my triathlon 3 months later."
"I was on vacation
in Williamsburg [when, with] lots of walking and horseplay (I know now, I'm too old for certain things), I managed
to get my neck into some real trouble. I could barely move it to the left side and had limited up and down mobility. I
truly was dreading the ride home (10 hours of pain I kept thinking). On the verge of tears, I told my husband I needed to
get treatment. I called my chiropractor in Atlanta who gave me some questions to ask. When I called Dr. Shaye's office, he
took them time to talk to me and my chiropractor in Atlanta as well. He even thanked me for 'interviewing him'.
I'm
so thankful that Dr. Shaye took the time to see and adjust me. My ride home went well and I have fond memories of my vacation.
Just wanted to send this note and say "Thank you". Dr. Shaye, you are truly a gem."
